Just Play skin updated to version 1.1

I have made some slight changes to the look of the skin for better visibility of text and prettier mode icons. The skin logic has also been cleaned up a bit.

The skin and source have been posted to the PocketTunes website (under GPL license). You can download it there, once it's been put up. You can also get it here.

btw: You might check out Cory Doctorow's website, where you can find his podcast (featured in the screenshot) and many other interesting things. I've really enjoyed his readings on the podcast.

Looks good, thanks for creatin this. Probably the most useful skin I have seen. Sugestions:
- You need a way to access the menus without taking out the stylus. Maybe an access button?
- Support 320x480 resolution
- Perhaps a vertical volume bar? Sliding the thumb up/down is easier than left right.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll think about these when I look at doing another revision.

Best skin I've ever used - nothing else comes close. I originally intended to use it only while jogging, but quickly found myself relying on it regardless of activity.

That the skin is easy on the eye (and thumbs) is clear before even downloading, but it is in the details that this skin really shines. One example is how it displays author in the comment area regardless of whether one has "Show song list in comment area" activated or not. No more having to see the title twice if I forget to turn list mode off.

I can't wait to see your next skin. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your comments. I created it, initially, for when I was running. I'm glad to see someone else liking it for that, too.

Just downloaded the skin now...and I like it so far. As stated previously, I'd appreciate 320x480 also. And, an open button would round out the list.
Would it also be possible to have the elapsed time display accommodate more digits? (long audio books and podcasts you see)

LOVE this skin! It's great looking and so easy to use. I agree that it's probably the most useful pTunes skin I've seen. Thanks so much for creating and publishing it.

I agree with arun's comment: an Open button would make this skin perfect! That's really the only function that I use often that's not covered on your fantastic skin.

Looking forward to your next release!

Ronnie,
I use your skin everyday. I have a few suggestions. Can you toggle total time at the top right to count up or down. This will allow you to remove the time indicator at the bottom left. Perhaps the upper right total time indicator could hold the total time for 3-5 seconds then begin a countdown or count up as toggled by the user.

If you made this change it would free screen space to add an open button. If you remove the time indicator to the left of the slider bar it can be moved to the left, this will allow a new button to open and select songs to the bottom right of the play button. Thanks for a great skin. I truly love it and wish I had the expertise to make these changes myself!

Can't wait to see your next release.

I download your skin from pockettunes and used on my Treo680 but now I can't change it because I can't access the manager from pockettunes anymore. Any help you can offer me, please?

What marsiaj said. I just downloaded and installed it to my Centro, but I can't uninstall it or change settings or use the menus now :P

Any ideas? I'd look in the source code (thank you!!!!!) but I'm on a linux box and the lovely people at NormSoft decided not to release the PTSC for v4.x on Linux.
